"Guyana #1 Laptops/Notebooks Computers services and repairs Shop. Parts for all Brands; Acer, Dell, Gateway, Greatwall, Lenovo, HP, Msi and more"
Gateway, Inc., previously Gateway 2000, Inc., was an American computer company originally based in Iowa and South Dakota. Founded by Ted Waitt and Mike Hammond in 1985, the company developed, manufactured, supported, and marketed a wide range of personal computers, computer monitors, servers, and computer accessories. At its peak in the year 2000, the company employed nearly 25,000 worldwide. Following a seven-year-long slump, punctuated by the acquisition of rival computer manufacturer eMachines in 2004 and massive consolidation of the company's various divisions in an attempt to curb losses and regain market share, Gateway was acquired by Taiwanese hardware and electronics corporation Acer, in October 2007 for US$710 million.
Ebuisnesscentre was registered by Leroy Carter as a business in Guyana in April, 2002 to provide computer sales and installations, hardware and software maintenance to Printers, Desktop Computers, Laptops and Notebooks. Secondly to provide Daceasy Point-o-Sale and Accpac Accounting package installations and configurations throughout Guyana.
In June 2010 to facilitate the growing demands for computer products, especially Laptops, Notebooks and Netbooks services we created our own Ecommerce website, ebusmobile.com.
ebusmobile.com was housed by an ebay.com sister company, i.e., prostores.com which enables us to extend our reach to the World. Intentionally ebusmobile.com was created to satisfy the Mobile computer market demand for replacement Parts and Spares for all brands of Laptops, Notebooks and Netbooks computers and give us a strategic advantage to also list our Parts and Spares on the ebay.com platform.
Ebusiness Centre relocated to its current location, 71 E Brickdam and Winter place to be amongst a cluster of technology progressive companies, e.g., Guyana Telecommunication Inc.(GT&T), Starr Computers Inc., and others which allow us to compete and benefit from a stream of young shoppers who are looking for great bargains for all types of computer products and gadgets.
Ebusiness Centre provided our expertise to Guyana Government thru’ the Basic Need Trust Fund (BNTF) where we assembled, configured and networked Desktop computer units at twelve Computer Labs, i.e., Region1-Mabaruma; Region 2-Essequibo, Cotton field, AR Technical institute; Region 3-West Demerara; Region 4-Enmore, Houston, Buxton; Region 5 Cotton tree, Region 6-Port Mourant; Region 9-Lethem and Region 10-Linden, Houruru. Most of these Labs were used as Centres for One Laptop Per A Family (OLPF) core training. We continue to support these Centres providing computer hardware maintenance and Spare parts.
With a permanent staff of trained technicians who has the capabilities to trouble-shoot and disassemble and reassemble all brands of computers we have become the main source for laptop replacement parts in Guyana. Also throughout the years we have established a solid network of technicians in all the counties, i.e., regions of Guyana who look forwards to be supplied with parts to service their customers.
We appreciate your business.
